The 100 mm Loading Unit with DST™ Series Technology is a sterile, single-use surgical stapling reload designed for use with Covidien’s GIA™ 100 mm staplers. It features four staggered rows of titanium staples with a pre-formed height of 4.8 mm (closing to approximately 2.0 mm), optimized for transecting and stapling thick tissue commonly encountered in bariatric, colorectal, and general abdominal surgeries. The DST™ (Directional Staple Technology) enhances staple formation and compression control, improving hemostasis and staple line integrity in demanding tissue conditions. With a 100 mm staple line, this reload is ideal for procedures that require broad tissue coverage in a single firing. It offers reliable performance, consistent staple formation, and is commonly color-coded green to indicate its use for thick tissue applications.
